WORK-IN-PROGRESS Academic Calendar 2026-2027

Find the Registrar Calendar here, which includes important academic dates and deadlines. The 2026-27 Academic Calendar will be posted at a future time. The following information is an outline, but is subject to change and/or rearrangement once the calendar and specific dates are finalized.

2026 – Summer Sessions

There are eight summer sessions: full term (12 weeks); summer 1 (first four weeks), summer 2 (second four weeks), and summer 3 (third four weeks); summer A (first six weeks) and summer B (second six weeks); and summer E1 and E2 which each run for five weeks. Specific dates for each of these terms are included on the Registrar Calendar. In the summer sessions, no classes are held on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, and Independence Day.

Summer degrees are awarded on XX, August XX, 2026.

2026 – Fall Semester

	Final day of regular registration
	Fall classes begin
	Course add/drop period
	Labor Day (No classes; University closed)
	Midterm grades due by 3 PM
	Thanksgiving Break
	Last day of classes
	Reading Day
	Final examinations
	Final grades due in Registrar's Office by 12 noon
	Fall Degrees Awarded

In addition to the full fall term, there are two parts of term that each run 7 weeks.

2026 – Spring Semester

	Spring classes begin
	Course add/drop period
	Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No classes; University closed)
	Spring Break
	Midterm Grades due by 3 PM
	Easter Break
	Last day of classes
	Reading Day
	Final examinations
	Commencement
	Final grades due in Registrar's Office by 12 noon
	Spring Degrees Awarded

In addition to the full spring term, there are two parts of term that each run 7 weeks.

2027 – Summer Sessions

The calendar for the Summer Sessions will appear online in March 2027.
