Artificial Intelligence Minor

This interdisciplinary minor examines artificial-intelligence technology, its relationships to natural intelligence, and its social and ethical effects. Students will develop their understanding of artificial-intelligence technology and its applications by bringing to bear distinctly human considerations from a broad range of disciplines.

Learning Goals

The learning goals of the minor reflect the knowledge domains of business analytics:

  1. Use programming skills to manipulate AI models

  2. Demonstrate an understanding of natural/biological intelligence systems

  3. Recognize and analyze the social and/or ethical dimensions of AI

  4. Apply AI to practical domains
